This is a project created for TSA 2015. I created multiple parts of this video, mainly the star itself and the introduction sequence. Both me and my partner had a great deal of involvement in each others segments.
The star was created using a sphere, a fire effect and a very detailed texture that glowed. All flares were particles being shot out of the surface using forces. |

This video was made using Fracture Voronoi and the physics simulator MassFX to make 3 blocks shatter.

This animation was made with a plane with a Flex modifier, and settings to make it act like a liquid. The block was dropped using MassFX.

This is a simple particle flow with a glowing material map made to look like sparks hitting a concrete sphere. This also utilizes the particle age material map, which changes the color of the particles with age.

This was an animation done in my junior year of high school, though not very good it was the first stepping stone to moving up to more advanced techniques. It used a basic model and a blizzard particle system with randomized particles.
